With her lengthy career as a registered psychologist and qualified social worker and mediator and her experience working with troubled people of all ages and walks of life, Denise was the obvious choice for Mike’s co-principal at Brisbane Mediations .

Some of Denise’s relevant Training and Experience is as follows:

• Registered Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner with the Attorney General’s Department and able to issue s60I Certificates under The Family Law Act 1975
• Accredited Mediator with the Australian Mediation Association
• Registered Psychologist and Qualified Social Worker with extensive experience in private practice (Principal Britton Psychological Services)
• Member Australian Institute of Family Law Mediators and Arbitrators
• Therapist / Counsellor for children, adolescents, adults, couples and families
• Qualified as a Child Consultant in Child Inclusive mediations
• Evaluator, Report Writer and Expert Witness (Family Court and other Jurisdictions) for over 20 years
• Trainer for other professionals, including Children’s Representatives and Emergency Services Personnel
• Contractor for Employee Assistance Programmes including Workplace Dispute Resolution – Private and Public Sectors
• Rural and Urban Practice Experience
• Member Legal Aid Conferencing Panel since it’s inception in 1990’s
